Use with AI coding tools
Give Claude, Cursor, Copilot or ChatGPT the Mamo docs so the code they write matches the real API.
AI coding assistants write better integration code when they read the actual API reference instead of guessing from memory. These docs are published in formats built for them.
Point your assistant at the docs
| Format | URL | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Index of every page | https://docs.mamopay.com/llms.txt | Let the assistant find the right page itself |
| Any page as Markdown | Add .md to a page URL, e.g. https://docs.mamopay.com/reference/post_links.md | Paste or attach the exact endpoint you're working on |
Requests sent with an Accept: text/markdown header also get Markdown back, so tools that fetch pages directly read clean text instead of HTML.
Tool by tool
- Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot Chat: paste the
llms.txtURL into the chat, or add it as a docs source (Cursor: @Docs → Add new doc). Then ask, for example: "Using the Mamo docs, create a payment link for 100 AED and verify the payment with a webhook." - ChatGPT, Claude.ai, Gemini: paste the
.mdURL of each page you need, or thellms.txtURL if the assistant can browse.
Tips for accurate code
- Name the environment. Build against the sandbox base URL
https://sandbox.dev.business.mamopay.com/manage_api/v1with a sandbox key, and switch to production only at go-live. See Authentication. - Ask the assistant to confirm payments server-side (webhook or Fetch Payment Info), never from the redirect URL alone.
- Keep your API key out of the prompt. Use an environment variable such as
MAMO_API_KEY.
Mamo MCP is a different tool
Mamo MCP connects an AI assistant to your Mamo account so it can answer questions about your own payments and payouts. It doesn't write code against the API; use the formats above for that.
